Dafont – This is my first stop when I’m looking for a font to use on a project. It’s easy to use, you can browse by category, search by keyword, preview fonts with your own text and display up to 50 fonts at a time.

Urbanfonts – A similar site to dafont, with a crisp, clean interface.

Smashing Magazine – Posted a great font roundup.

Fontspace – Registration required (free). This is a font community where designers can post their fonts and users can download them and leave comments.  An advantage of this site is that when you’re logged in you can save fonts to your ‘favourites’ to download later.

I recently bought myself the firestarter sessions and I’m very very excited about it. I’m only a few pages into the prologue and already there are bright sparks flying everywhere. If you run a business, or want to run a business and want to make some positive changes to your life, this is a fantastic place to start. Well worth the investment.
