About Us:
After completing a number of scrapbook albums with all of the family photos she could get her hands on, Lorri’s attention turned to Artist Trading Cards. Lorri found that ATCs were the perfect outlet for her – she could try new techniques, use her collection of rubber stamps and build up a collection of art from people all around the world.
A few years on, and Lorri is a published mixed-media artist with her work seen in such publications as ATC quarterly & Create Collect Trade and she is a featured artist on Art-e-zine and the Darkroom Door blog.
Lorri is an active member of the art-blogging and swapping communities. She is currently Administrator of the Artist Trading Cards group on Flickr – which has over 1800 members.
She is also Administrator of the Scrappindipity Flickr group – which has over 500 members.
She is also founder of the Aussie Swappers group on Swap-bot.
Bec has a cupboard full of half-finished art journals and random projects. She knows more about the joy of creating than the thrill of seeing a finished piece but is working on it. She enjoys playing with paint and texture, making a mess and getting lost in the moment. She has no time for ‘tedious’ tasks like cutting out finely detailed designs or making sure things are square. Her style is 40% wild abandon, 40% serendipity and 20% laziness.
Bec likes to solve problems creatively and lives by ‘try what you’ve got first’ (or what’s easier to grab).
